Wright's Auto Services

SCAM SHOP. They charged me over $50 just to crack open a tight nut. That is absolutely ridiculous. They took advantage of a simple job and charged an outrageous amount. Avoid this place at all costs!

Honest, generous amazing auto shop. I had a car emergency on my way to a sales call and panic googled auto shops nearby. I am so glad that Wrights auto service came up. I swung in to see if they could assist and even though they had no opening (and were a month out) the owner drove my car and since it was a relative easy fix he did it right then. I cannot recommend this auto shop enough!

I’ve always been nervous about taking my cars into auto mechanic shops, based on previous experiences, and I can’t say it enough how happy I am with wright’s auto. I had a couple different things fixed with in the last month on my Honda. Tom and his staff were amazing to me. They would call to keep me updated, and were always friendly, helpful, respectful, professional and quick with my repairs. I’m so thankful that I have found an auto shop that I can trust! Thank you again for your amazing service. :)

Today I found myself between a rock and a hard place. Not being from Madison, I had brought my parents down from Wisconsin Rapids for an appointment at St. Mary's hospital. On our way down, my Hyundai started making a growling noise coming from either the front passenger side wheel, or the transmission, but I could not locate it while driving the car. After dropping my parents off, I proceeded to Zimbricks Hyundai to seek help. Though the scheduler took a ride with me, he wasn't able to offer any help. I called several other places, and nobody was willing to help. I randomly found Wrights Auto on my way back to the hospital, so I pulled in on a wing and a prayer. The gal at the front desk was extremely helpful, and before sending me on my way, asked her dad to come out of the shop and went for a ride with me. He was able to identify the noise was indeed a front wheel bearing, and said i could make it the 100+ miles home. When I asked what the bill was, he said it was no charge. I still have him some money to buy the crew lunch. Tom gave me the confidence that I needed to make sure i could get my parents home safely. You just don't meet people like this much anymore.

Tom Wright was very thorough with my car and made sure to repair and replace only what was necessary. The price and quality of his work was very reasonable. It's nice to have a family shop in Madison I can trust. Support small business!
